Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Amo ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not download or use the app. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and 407 Studio ("we", "us", or "our").
Eligibility
You must be at least 17 years old to use this app. The app contains mature content including intimate conversation topics intended for adult couples. By using the app, you confirm that you meet the minimum age requirement applicable in your country or region.
If you are under the age of 18, you must have the permission of a parent or legal guardian to use the app, and that parent or guardian must agree to these Terms on your behalf.
Description of Service
Amo is a couples conversation app designed to help partners connect through meaningful questions and playful debates. The app provides:
- Conversation starter questions across multiple themed categories
- A card-swiping interface for exploring questions together
- Premium subscription features for additional content and features
- Local storage of preferences and conversation history
Use of the App
The app is provided for entertainment and relationship enhancement purposes only. You agree to use it responsibly and in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. You must not:
- Use the app to harass, harm, or intimidate any person.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the app.
- Use the app in any way that violates Apple's App Store Review Guidelines or Google Play's Developer Policy.
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose.
In-App Purchases & Subscriptions
The app offers optional in-app purchases to unlock premium features including expanded question sets, additional conversation categories, and enhanced features. The following purchase options are available:
Subscription Plans
- Amo Weekly: A weekly subscription that automatically renews every 7 days. Provides full access to all premium features for the subscription period.
- Amo Annual: A yearly subscription that automatically renews every 12 months. Offers the best value for long-term access to all premium features.
One-Time Purchase
- Amo Lifetime: A one-time purchase that grants permanent access to all premium features. No recurring charges or renewals required.
Auto-Renewal Terms
Subscriptions (Weekly and Annual) automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your Apple ID or Google Play account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price as the original subscription. You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your account settings on the App Store or Google Play Store after purchase.
How to Cancel
- iOS: Go to Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Amo → Cancel Subscription.
- Android: Open the Google Play app → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Amo → Cancel subscription.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to premium features until that date. Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Payment & Billing
Payment will be charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. All billing is handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We do not process payments directly or have access to your payment information. Prices are displayed in your local currency and may vary by region. Prices are subject to change with notice.
Refunds
Refund requests are subject to the refund policies of the applicable platform:
- Apple: Apple's refund policy
- Google: Google Play's refund policy
Intellectual Property
All content, design, graphics, questions, code, and other materials within the app are the exclusive property of 407 Studio or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or in any way exploit any part of the app without our prior written permission. The Amo name and logo are trademarks of 407 Studio.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Your use of the app is at your sole risk.
Important: Amo is not a substitute for professional relationship counseling or therapy. If you are experiencing relationship difficulties, we encourage you to seek help from a qualified professional.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, 407 Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the app, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the app shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or USD $10 if you have not made any purchases.
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the app shall first be attempted to be resolved informally by contacting us at hello@407.studio. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration under the rules applicable in India.
Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive or other equitable relief for infringement of intellectual property rights.
Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If changes are material, we will notify you through the app or via a notice on this page. Your continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
